Pilates

Pilates is a complete, holistic, exercise method focusing on building your body’s core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition, low impact, stretching and conditioning exercises, restoring your body to achieve optimal complete balance. Whilst the fundamentals of Pilates are to develop core strength which includes: your back, abdominal and pelvic muscles, you will in addition to this, be working your whole body giving you a full total body conditioning workout.

As a consequence, with regular practice you will achieve increased mobility and flexibility. Pilates can be subtle, with gentle controlled movements that target specific muscles, and address balance in underlying muscle structures. To get the most benefit, it is advised that you commit to a series of classes, either group or 1-1 sessions. Joseph Pilates the founder suggested that “In 10 sessions, you feel better, 20 sessions you look better, 30 sessions you have a completely new body.” Pilates is included in a range of packages.
